There are 16 home games at Steinbrenner Field from March 1st to April 3rd. The majority of the games are at 1:05 PM with 6 games at 7:05 PM.

Before and after the game, there are many fun things to do in Tampa. You may want to catch a cab and explore these areas:

  • Exercise enthusiasts bring your running gear, Bayshore Boulevard has a 4.5 mile continuous sidewalk and a 3-mile bike lane. Enjoy a scenic view of the Hillsborough river as you fit in your morning or evening run. Another option to get some exercise near Steinbrenner Field is Al Lopez Park.
  • Channelside has a variety of restaurants and other entertainment including a Comedy Club, IMAX Theater and Gameworks. This district is downtown. If you elect to visit this area, ask your cab driver to make a quick detour to get a glimps of Derek Jeter's mansion.
  • Cigar enthusiasts, catch a Trolly Ride from Channelside to Historic Ybor City for a flavor of Tampa 's historic Latin Quarter. Ybor (pronounced eebor) is noted for its cigar manufacturing in the 1880’s, and still is the place to go for a fine selection of cigars.
  • The Florida Aquarium considered one of the best in the country, located at 701 Channelside Drive.

Extending your visit?

  • Don’t miss the Lowry Park Zoo and Busch Gardens.
  • Catch a cruise – Port of Tampa has frequent departures with major cruise lines.
